February Staff University has ended
Welcome to Staff University - February 2019 Edition at East High School!

Please sign up for sessions for each of the four time periods. Note that there are DOUBLE SESSIONS, that will be either the 1st two times or the last two times.

Many sessions would like you to bring a device, so please bring your charged device ready for the day.

We will start in the East Auditorium after lunch at Noon with an opening message and then go to sessions.  We will be offering snacks and drinks between the second and third sessions.

Book Study: Leadership in Turbulent Times! LIMITED
Feedback form is now closed.
Limited Capacity seats available

This session will be an introduction to the national bestseller by historian Doris Kerns Goodwin, Leadership During Turbulent Times. The book focuses on four US presidents – Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Lyndon B. Johnson – who faced national and global conflicts during their times in office. I will lead a discussion of the themes she presents, including how we can apply events from the past to turbulent times today.
While it would be helpful to have a copy of the book (and if you have read parts of it equally good), it is not necessary. Feel free to join in our conversation as we wrap things up for the day!
